Dave, Well I am looking forward to testing Hercules on an iMac quad-core i7 with at least 12GB of RAM and an SSD drive early next year (yes, tax filings will precipitate the purchase). While I do intend to setup a bootable environment on the internal 2TB HD I will get, I also intend to setup a bootable SSD enviroment for testing such things as Hercules to see how many MIPS can be squezed out of it. One has to wonder if the original developers of VM/370 ever considering that it might run on an SSD drive one day!?! I am presume my "testing" will prove it functions well! :) Blake --- In [email protected], Dave McGuire <Mcguire@...> wrote: > > On 10/25/10 11:47 AM, [email protected] wrote: > > I also am intent upon purchasing a new iMac in the next few months, > > and when I do, one of my first orders of business will be the > > appointment of Hercules under MacOS. > > Just FYI, separate from SixPack stuff, Hercules itself runs nicely > under OS X on both x86 and PPC. > > -Dave > > -- > Dave McGuire > Port Charlotte, FL >
