Paul just out of curiosity did you chek the path length of EDIT in VM/SP

I definitelty agree that changing the logic for the BROWSE makes a lot of
sense.
I will take care of that. (send me your routine and I'll use it as a base).
I have few other small fixes for the next release as well
( like a copyright notice that everybody says I need -? and a fix to the
IND$FILE)

EDIT has other issues…

If you remember back in the beginning when I started,  I said that I would
do the Browse first so I could develop the routines easier.
This is a case where the "BROWSE"  and "EDIT"  LOGIC should definitely be
diferent.
