Host initiated line drop for 7171 protocol converter

When using IBM 7171 (or the earlier Yale series/1 iup) protocol converters
to connect to an IBM host, it was possible to get it to drop the line at
logoff or disconnect by having the host send a specific 3270 sequence.
I have done a small modification to Hercules to have it recognise this
sequence and cause the incoming tn3270 session to be closed. It works with
the MUSIC o/s which can be configured to send the required sequence at
logoff unless you specify the HOLD option.
In the case of VM/SP and likely VM/370, there was a CP modification to
accomplish the same thing. I have searched for this on the net but have
been unable to find a copy. I did find a 1985 entry in the vmshare archive
where someone from Yale said that it was "put on the tools tape at last
years VM workshop". It was also distributed with the "S1TRAN" package
along with some other software which was not freely available. Does
anyone still have a copy of this or a similar modification?
If not, can anyone help me recreate it? HRC029DK already appears to do
something similar to drop connections at logout from second level.
