I believe they are the result of using an older version of tn5250. Could you please run the following command and tell me what it says: tn5250 -version If it doesn't say "tn5250 0.17.4" then getting the latest release of tn5250 is the first requirement. In an earlier message you said that you had 0.17.3, 0.17.4, and 0.17.5 from CVS all installed. That sounds like a lot of potential for problems, particularly if you have one version installed in one place (like /usr) and another version installed in another (like /usr/local). Once tn5250 version 0.17.4 is installed then build x5250 using the source from: http://www.eaerich.com/x5250-0.5.2-pre4.tar.gz It should build with no warnings. James Rich if you want to understand why that is, there are many good books on the design of operating systems. please pass them along to redmond when you're done reading them :) - Paul Davis on ardour-dev -- This is the Linux 5250 Development Project (LINUX5250) mailing list To post a message email: LINUX5250-Zwy7GipZuJhWk0Htik3J/[email protected] To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/linux5250 or email: LINUX5250-request-Zwy7GipZuJhWk0Htik3J/[email protected] Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/linux5250.
