Ok, I'm just trying to keep things straight since on MS Windows there is a 
different front end.  There is a possibility that the back end code is 
crashing so I want your reports as well.  But at this point I'm guessing 
that the problem on linux is with the front end code (x5250) and that on 
MS Windows it is a similar problem but on different code (win32 tn5250).

the design of operating systems. please pass them along to redmond
when you're done reading them :)
