I'm using Kubuntu 9.04 with tn5250 out of the repositories - but I don't have any problems. The warning messages telling you that "black" and "white" are not defined makes me think something is missing from your OS... when you installed tn5250 (or xterm) were there any errors? I suppose you could try uninstalling tn5250 and then re-installing it: sudo apt-get remove tn5250 sudo apt-get install tn5250 and see if that works. I admit I'm grasping at straws but it's something to try. I know how frustrating it is when something doesn't work. -- This is the Linux 5250 Development Project (LINUX5250) mailing list To post a message email: LINUX5250-Zwy7GipZuJhWk0Htik3J/[email protected] To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/linux5250 or email: LINUX5250-request-Zwy7GipZuJhWk0Htik3J/[email protected] Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/linux5250.
