Cursor progression is a feature that allows the cursor to move in a sequence other that upper left to lower right. Suppose you have two columns on a screen and you want the cursor to move straight down the left column and then straight down the right column instead of moving from one column to the next before moving down a row. You can specify the DDS keyword FLDCSRPRG in the screen file to instruct the cursor which field the cursor should move to when it exits the current field. In order for this to work the terminal must tell the host that it supports that feature. That is what the +enhanced keyword in .tn5250rc does.
