I must sheepishly admit that I'm not familiar with the replay feature.
I
can't find any mention of this feature on the man page, the help text,
or
the HOWTO. While I'm pretty certain that any replay feature would
simply
use a trace file created using the "trace" option, I can't be certain
without trying it. Could you please tell me how to use replay?

If the output created by the trace feature is what is used, then it
should
be possible. Probably hard, but possible.

if you want to understand why that is, there are many good books on
the design of operating systems. please pass them along to redmond
when you're done reading them :)
