What "+uninhibited" does is to make it unnecessary to hit the reset key after various actions that put the terminal into a locked state. For example, pressing a disallowed function key would normally lock the terminal requiring the user to press the reset key. By enabling the uninhibited keyword the terminal will no longer require the reset key to be pressed. The next key press will automatically unlock the terminal.
