Ok. Thanks... yeah, you're right on the .tn5250rc. I'm so used to working in
the Windows world that I automatically put things the way they are in the
Mickeysoft world. :-)

I would definitely create the tn5250rc file, it makes many things a lot 
easier.  Please read the HOWTO for details, but the quick answer is that 
the tn5250rc file sets the options that control how your session works. 
This file is usually kept in your home directory and is named .tn5250rc 
not TN5250.RC (note the leading ".").  You can work without the tn5250rc 
file but that means you have to specify every option on the command line.

As far as I'm aware, there are only two options available in the latest 
version of tn5250 that are not documented in the HOWTO.  Those two options 
are +destructive_backspace and +uninhibited.  The latter we have already 
discussed.  The former should be pretty obvious as to its purpose.
