Mike, First, my apologies for not replying to your private e-mail. I received your private e-mail asking about the status of DL/I on the Turnkey. I meant to reply to it when I had more time, but never did. All the tinkering I've done with the version of DL/I we have available was under MVT. I've yet to see it alive and kicking under MVS, although it sounds like progress has been made. Does anybody have them? Those look like the names of the test programs I sent to Volker. They're not much to look at. It was a case of the blind leading the blind. I was learning DL/I, and perhaps COBOL, programming as I created them. I set up a very simple address database. I've tossed a copy of the programs, contained in the jobstreams I used to compile them under MVT, up at: http://www.RawFedDogs.net/static/DLI-Test-Jobs.tar.bz2 I also included the dbdgen and psbgen jobs and test jobs. The testload job contains a pile of addresses I generated randomly. -- Kevin http://www.RawFedDogs.net http://www.WacoAgilityGroup.org Bruceville, TX What's the definition of a legacy system? One that works! Si hoc legere scis nimium eruditionis habes. Longum iter est per praecepta, breve et efficax per exempla!!!
