Re: Trouble Trying to install latest RPF --> perhaps fixed?

Ok, I went and looked at the configuration file that Hercules is launched with. In there device 000C is setup as a socket reader with
an listen address of rampart.local. Since this is a non-routed machine on my network that name is ok for most things but for Hercules and 3270 terminals I have to use either 127.0.0.1 (the loop back) or the fixed IP address of Rampart 192.168.1.81

I changed the config file and re-started Hercules (yes proper shutdown on MVS) and I had a device 000C. When I devinit 000C jclfile the socket reader got closed and replaced with the file. So next time I reboot Hercules I will get the socket reader back.

Ok proof of the pudding - fire up a 3270 on my laptop and see which version of RPF runs....

... Yay! I gets the new one. (with the nice calendar and all)

BTW is there an "uptime" command? (so I can see how long since my last ipl?)
