RPF - INPUT CONVERT FAILED

I'm trying to edit "ADDUSER". When I change the HLQ=USERID and hit enter I get the message "INPUT CONVERT FAILED". The RPF manual doesn't explain why this message occurs. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?
