Normal place to download is: http://www.bsp-gmbh.com/turnkey/tk3_faq.html#q001 > I have also found a link for installing mvs >'www.jaymoseley.com/hercules/installmvs/instmvs1.htm' . > > But in that link they have used two files(20mb) for installing. > > 1.which one of the above should i install. This is the usual file that people start with: C:\download>unzip -v turnkey-mvs-3.zip Archive: turnkey-mvs-3.zip Length Method Size Ratio Date Time CRC-32 Name -------- ------ ------- ----- ---- ---- ------ ---- 572426240 Defl:N 512052580 11% 10/11/03 08:00 11cfa906 turnkey-mvs-3.iso -------- ------- --- ------- 572426240 512052580 11% 1 file > 2.when i run the iso image. a command prompt opens > giving me 2 options > > 1.install mvs turkey system > 2.install mvs starter and sysgen files > > what is the difference between the two. Number 1 would be the full system, and number 2 would be a mini system. So you want number 1. However, you must be running something different to TK3, because this is normal to see: MVS 3.8J System Installation/Generation: 1. Install MVS Tur(n)key system - standard setup Debug: off 2. Install MVS Tur(n)key system - simple setup ANSI: on 3. Install MVS Starter system and SYSGEN files x. Exit and again, number 1 is what you normally choose. BFN. Paul.
