This sort of discussion (i.e. 'it is possible that the earth will
explode', 'it depends on what you mean by <insert obvious term>',
etc, etc, ad nauseaum) just gets me to climb the walls.

I mean, how many times do we have to have this silly discussions
where we're going around in circles about technical definitions
of obvious terms, just for the purpose of arguing something?

I'm really sorry, but I had to say this. And I'll explain why 'it works'
was obviously unambiguous in this context.

Context: The proponents of the LGPL wanted a switch to that
license because, they argued, it would result in more patches
going into Wine from commercial companies. The TG people,
among others, did not want to switch for the *exact* reason.
That is, that the LGPL will force them to release more stuff
to the public tree than they wanted to.

Problem: Someone said that the LGPL worked, because it resulted
in more patches to the public tree.

Which you seem to agree with, but than argue that it did not work,
somehow, because those patches were forced out of TG. But you
know what -- this *is* included in the above definition for 'it works'!
