It's so refreshing to see a new, non-biased, non-hypocritical view! And
with such technical accuracy! Thanks Brett, you've outdone yourself again!
So lets look at these two points you've mentioned.
Well, the first I will ignore, because your obviously trying to ram your
pro-monopoly, anti-realistic viral ranting down peoples thoats. So lets
look at the second bit of information.. no forking before the LGPL, eh?
Let's look at the current known forks:
- WineX
Was Aladdin licensed from the off, did not fork due to or as a result
of X11/LGPL.
- Lindows
Was started berfore license debate. There is no known details on this
'fork'.
- ReWind
Was forked as a result of LGPL change. W00t.
This of coursed is just the three 'major' players. Maybe there are othres,
but the first two alone are proof that your statement is bunk, given your
emphisis on 'NO'. So lets conclude the rest of your argument is likewise
flawed with inaccuracy.
