It seems to me that the BSD advocates fall into 2 groups (or use 2 main
arguments):
  1) if you want to share and have fun, BSD is the way to go
  2) the BSD license is actually better for the project.

My message addressed the first group / line of reasoning.

As for 2), I don't see how you can still maintain it is true, after it's been
proven time and again that it's not. You can pretend to live in a different
world (and certainly many people do, may atimes helped by various
substances), but I'm afraid that does not change the cold reality that
most of us live in :).
