I will agree that Stallman is saying that.  That sounds like a form of
trade as opposed to sharing (X11).  A BSD/X11 license is saying:  "you
may play with my toys all you like.  If you would be so kind, may I play
with yours?"  The second form is altruistic; the first is more
commercial.
