XFree86 is doing well.  They will be getting some new code in Q4 of 2002
for a card I really want to get:

FreeBSD has received Vinum (volume manager), SoftUpdates (file system
enhancement), and SMP (initially from BSDi, I believe).

PostgreSQL is under the BSD license.  The project is doing well.
Unfortunately, the consulting company did not.

Apache.  What more can I say?  They have many projects within their
fold.

OpenSSL is number one.

modssl.  It is now within Apache.

Zsh.  My new favorite shell.

Enlightenment.  v0.17 is long-awaited, but the core has changed quite a
bit.

Winamp.  I believe the source to Wasabi (cross-platform GUI) will be
released under the BSD license, but I am uncertain.

EPIC (http://www.epicsol.org/).  My favorite IRC client.  Their site is
out of date, but the change log shows a lot of work being done.
