I'm aware of them.  I was trying to make a small, focused response to a 
message that appeared to already be focused on monetary considerations; it 
didn't seem worth broadening the scope to address all other forms of 
motivation and recompense.  After all the complaints that I'm writing too 
much, now you're complaining because I was too focused?  I can't win.

Yes, all of your points are correct.  They were just beyond the scope of 
the particular message you're complaining about.
