Ah, Sean, isn't that exactly the point?  There was a lot of
energy and excitement around both game and productivity
development on wine-devel several years ago.  The demand for both
remains strong (based somewhat objectively on appdb vote counts, and
largely subjectively on user requests on the newsgroup
list and on #winehq).

Since Transgaming started, nearly all
of the game related development energy has gone out of
wine-devel.  The demand hasn't changed, but Wine's support
for games has stopped advancing.
