I had already upgraded Wine using "apt-get" including "apt-get install" prior to posting (I am a newbie, but I do read manuals ;) ).

Winetricks is updated now, too.

I tried renaming the file as specified in your link. Nothing worked.

I am at a loss at how to go on. (Newbie alert...)
