Need help plz, World of warcraft updater issues

hey, i followed the info this site gave on installing wow through wine, and it installed. my problem is with downloading the updater tools, it gets about a quarter of the way then just exits out not leaving an error code or anything. any ideas of what to do. and yes i have looked around for answers. 

ubuntu 12.04
updating to cataclysm 4.3 
newest version of wine used
