[1.5.27]-When Will Text Be Fixed In Windows(R) Steam?

Hi,

Running openSUSE 12.3 64Bit KDE fully updated.
Running WINE 1.5.27(current available).

I installed Valve's Windows(R) Steam game client into WINE.
It installed ok, but when it is run in current WINE there is no text in 
Steam?
I researched this on the Internet and found it is a known issue.
The current work-around is to add "-no-dwrite" to the Steam launch.

Just wondering when this issue will be fixed?
I have over 100 Windows(R) games on my Steam client.
