It's something that we've been considering offering, however, for most 
games the performance impact will be 0 as the bottleneck is either, to 
put it grossly, OpenGL running things in software or wineserver 
communication overhead. Neither will be affected by binary optimization 
of WineX code. Algorithmic optimization, on the other hand, is something 
that we're always doing and is where the real speed benefit comes from.

Thank you for your cointinuing support Richard. As you've noted, Gentoo 
was not supposed to be distributing CVS according to the terms of the 
license on WineX software; this is because the license that WineX is 
available under doesn't allow this. Gentoo recognized this and removed 
those packages which distributed WineX CVS. From what I understand, not 
being a Gentoo user,  you should still be able to emerge the binary 
versions as this requires a subscription. This still doesn't preclude 
you from downloading and compiling WineX CVS yourself.
