Thanks for the quick reply.

----<snip>----------------------------

I've recently investigated a similar problem in WineX 3.1 which turned
out to be some resolution issues in desktop mode. You're not using
 desktop mode, are you?
----</snip>---------------------------

I was using Desktop mode so that I could recover when it crashed. By position (0,0) I was actually referring to the center of the screen, or wine desktop. For example, moving to the left would go towards the left side of the screen towards the game menus, but then reset again to the very center, not the upper left hand corner, which is what I gather you are referring to.

-----<snip>----------------------------

You can only do that if DXGrab is off (if it's a fullscreen app, at
 least).
----</snip>-----------------------------

I did have DXGrab set to "N", again to be able to recover from the crashing. I will try it in full screen, non-windowed mode to see if there is a difference.

I do have a +seh output for the crash. The exception raised is: c0000005, which after grep'ing the code, appears to be 'STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION'. The last 100 lines of it are at:
http://www.angelfire.com/geek/p0z3r/seh.log.txt

When I get home, I am going to try to catch the crash in gdb.

Thanks again..
