The impression I've gotten from the FreeBSD community has essentially been
that there won't be any combined voices until TransGaming has announced
intention for support.  I'll read this as a conditional intention for
support, and see what I can rouse from the masses.

I can offer you a shell on a remote FreeBSD machine, and possibly even send
you a full machine, but that still leaves the development time.  I'll see
what I can do otherwise.

Excellent!  I'm glad to hear that, and I'll update my CVS and start over.

Nope, no patches just yet.  Especially if you're waiting on a response from
Bruce M Simpson, as chances are he'd provide a better quality patch than
something from me.

I'll see what I can do to must support from the FreeBSD camp, to get the
momentum for that first patch/step.
