EVE on winex

  Hi, i've read on this list some posts about EVE not running, i tryed
it too here and saw the same behaviour, it runs the splash screen, wait
some and start to play the background music, but, the login dosent
appears.

  I've seen that winex has some problems running custom size textures,
and was figuring out that maybe the login screen could be a single face
with a custom draw texture, see the err messages below:

err:file:CreateFileA Couldn't open device 'CON'!
err:ddraw:GL_load_texture_target glGetError returns 00000501 for
D3D_GL_load_texture
err:ddraw:D3D_GL_draw glGetError returns 00000505 for DrawPrimitive
