Older Installshield installers and setup.ins script.

Just wanted to ask what happens with old installshield versions and the 
setup.ins script? The installshield implementation appears to look for this 
script, but it does not appear to be present on the game CD (Deadlock, so 
it's a pretty old game and installer). Just wondering if there was a time 
when setup.ins wasn't used.

Also, while I know you guys aren't lawyers, can you give me a basic rundown on 
the legal issues concerning files produced by winedump?
