Hi there!
Thank you for the translations. I think I've tracked down part of the
problem. Quite a few of the entries being left out are marked like this:
#, fuzzy
but msgfmt apparently leaves those out by default. It seems you need to
use the -f option to include them.
However, once I used -f, msgfmt gave me these fatal errors:
new.po:668: `msgid' and `msgstr' entries do not both end with '\n'
new.po:677: `msgid' and `msgstr' entries do not both end with '\n'
new.po:685: `msgid' and `msgstr' entries do not both end with '\n'
new.po:690: `msgid' and `msgstr' entries do not both end with '\n'
new.po:695: `msgid' and `msgstr' entries do not both end with '\n'
new.po:722: `msgid' and `msgstr' entries do not both end with '\n'
new.po:3647: `msgid' and `msgstr' entries do not both end with '\n'
msgfmt: found 7 fatal errors
In addition, when I removed the extra '\n' characters from the
translated strings, I could not use the resulting .mo file with cedega.
Have you or anyone else encountered this error before while working on
po/mo files?
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "./Point2Play_gui.py", line 50, in ?
raise Point2PlayError( _("Unable to load GUI components") + "(%s)"
% str( sys.exc_info()[1] ) )
__main__.Point2PlayError: u'Impossible de charger les composants du
GUI(not all arguments converted during string formatting)'
Thanks again,
Emily
P.S. bzip format is fine. :-)
