Hi all,

For the first time in ages the Legion of the Bouncy Castle has little in the way of
new content to give away.

This is mainly a bug fix release, the most important area being some patches for Elliptic
Curve under Fp. Other issues addressed include BasicOCSPResp.getVersion() would sometimes
throw an exception, OCSPResponseData was including its default version in its encoding,
and the BCPG armored input stream was not closing the underlying stream on close. In
addition, the CRL generator now supports general extensions for CRL entries.

If you are using the BC Elliptic Curve, it is strongly recommended that you upgrade to
this version.

Of important note is that unless there is strong outcry, this is the final release for
JDK1.0, farewell, you've served us well over these years, but it's time to move on !

As usual, the latest releases can be found at :

http://www.bouncycastle.org/

And for those who like living on the bleeding edge, the betas can be downloaded from:

Please note, make sure that beta feedback is sent to the [email protected]
address, and not the general mailing list (dev-crypto)
