Brad,

I'll stop you there before you get yourself in any further.  The CIPE
protocol already has address switching in it to handle dynamic carrier
address changes.  Likewise replay attacks have already been thought of and
prevented.  I don't have the details, I can't remember if it was in the
documentation or if Olaf himself posted to the list with regards these
matters, but I do know these are both issues that have already been
addressed and discussed.
