Also, the cipcb0 is listed in:
$ ip link list
but without the UP flag

I killed the daemon, but the interfase is still listed and does not work
if I start the cipe daemon again.
My only solution is to reboot or clone the setup and use another
cipcb interfase.

I could be an old kernel too. Its a RH7.2 with kernel 2.4.9
