Have used cipe between 4 Redhat machines (1 RH9, 3 RH7.3) for a long
time now, but now trying to cipe from one of these machines to a
Slackware machine(2.4.22) I get this problem:
root@abraxas:~/cipe-1.5.4# ciped-cb -o /etc/cipe/options debug=1
CIPE daemon vers 1.5.4 (c) Olaf Titz 1996-2000
device=(none)
debug=yes
ipaddr=192.168.3.31
ptpaddr=192.168.3.30
mask=
bcast=
mtu=0
metric=0
cttl=64
me=192.168.250.3:4515
peer=xxxxxxxx.37:4515
key=(secret)
nokey=no
socks=
tokxc=0
tokey=0
ipup=(none)
ipdown=(none)
arg=(none)
maxerr=8
tokxts=0
ping=120
toping=0
dynip=yes
hwaddr=(none)
ifconfig=no
checksum=no
Using cipcb0 index 0
Segmentation fault
root@abraxas:~/cipe-1.5.4#

And with cipe module debugging enabled dmesg says:

and ifconfig locking that console.

Has anybody got ideas on this?

Thanks,
