There are some hypercritical opinions about CIPE, i hadn=B4t enough time or=
 i was 2 lazy to read this stuff up to now, but i will.

I currently have ~30 Linux2Linux tunnels with CIPE in production state with=
out any technical problems or securitiy issues. The major prob with CIPE *I=
MHO*, that development of the win32 port really is dead, currently there is=
 a major bug in W-XPSP2 which causes virtual interfaces to not show up in t=
he device list. This makes it (or will make it shortly) unusable in some ca=
ses.

Thats why I=B4m planning to migrate all my current cipe tunnels to OpenVPN,=
 last waterhole is a cheap hardware router for this XPSP2 cases, only becau=
se i believe this would be less work than moving the whole network to OpenV=
PN.

On the other hand, there are interconnections with another isp using cipe, =
which i can=B4t migrate anyway, so i will have to keep 2 different protocol=
s running....

I=B4ll tell more next week, i gotta check this small router first.
