Cipe 1.6.0 and 2.6.11.4-21.7

I am using a SuSE 9.3 system with the 2.6.11.4-21.7 kernel (currently) - 
trying to compile cipe-1.6.0 for use on the system I receive the 
following errors.

Note that I have downloaded and patched the cipe-1.6.0 source from the 
sourceforge page, which DID get me quite a bit further along.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
