CA Certificate and ODBC public keyset

Hei,

Is an any special reason why CA cert end user cert signed by this CA key 
cannot be written to ODBC public Keyset?
I am having error -42 / cannot write to object.

The same code with selfsigned simple cert and user cert singed by this 
cert writes both certs to public keyset without a problem.
