Separating GMAC and AES CTR

Dear all,

I was thinking to separate the encryption (AES CTR) and authentication 
(GMAC) from AES-GCM.

From the first glance, it does not appear to have a stand-alone API for me 
to use GMAC in Cryptpp lib. 

Could anyone give me some insight into this issue?
