New submission from Bernhard Herzog <[email protected]>:

When the email adress of the sender of a signed S/MIME mail doesn't match the
email address in the certificate, KMail shows a warning message with both email
addresses. If the email adress in the certificate is of the form name@domain
where domain contains no dots, e.g. aegyptentes9@hipponoe, Kmail shows some
binary garbage characters before the emails address of the certificate.

See the attached wrong-email-addr.mbox.
