I don't think that you need any documents if you are using Windows or on Linux if you install Kleopatra as a frontend. The old manuals and howtos for smartcards still apply to the command line version. However, you may want to switch the Yubikey firs to Curve25519 (first and thurd slot ed25519, second slot cv25519). You use "gpg --card-edit", then "admin", then "key-attr" to change the key algorithms. Kleopatra can do that for you, though.
