Registration is now open for the MIT-KIT Annual Conference on September 18-19, 2014. Preceding the conference is the Kerberos Day (on Sept 17th).

The Annual MIT-KIT Conference is co-sponsored with Prof Sandy Pentland from the MIT Media Lab and MIT Connection Science. The theme of the conference this year will be "Identity, Trust & Data".

Schedule:

(a) Sept 18th: Social Machines building Logistics Networks: Understanding the Supply Chain of Identity, Trust & Data. 

This year the focus of the conference is on the design, development and deployment of "logistical networks" that function as hybrid social-technical social machines commonly called "supply chains" as both a metaphor and a model for future social machines.  Centralized and distributed architectures play a crucial role in creating this future supply chain of identity, trust and personal & big data.

(b) Sept 19th: OpenID-Connect Day on RESTful Services in Healthcare. 

This one-day meeting will explore the technical issues related to patient data sharing using emerging technologies, such as the OpenID-Connect protocol for identity management (Identity) and the User Managed Access protocol for patient consent-management (Trust) of the patient records (Data).

(c) Sept 17th: Kerberos Day.

We have a number of presentations in the morning, followed by a special Kerberos Operators' Forum meeting dedicated to the administration of the MIT Kerberos deployment.
