I tend to agree with Russ on this I've been running a patched copy of
1.5.1 for a while now on EL6 it generally works I haven't had any
serious issues with it.
the only reason I'm considering upgrading is I want to make sure at
the least my int scripts and install locations are in line with the
upcoming fedora and hopefully EPEL rpms.
I will admit 1.6.0 it does compile and im willing to try it out in my
test environments to help with debugging it but I always play it safe
in production and using a pre-release in production is too dangerous
for me.
