 |This release adds the following new features:
 |
 | * Support for server side QUIC (RFC 9000)
 | * Support for 3rd party QUIC stacks

Ah! That answers my question from last month, i had not updated
my git repo, and three days before my post there was

  commit 3cf15554f290a3c004d36dfdb16b66619395615d
  Author: Matt Caswell <[email protected]>

Add an API for other QUIC stacks to use our TLS implementation

so it actually turns around the other way as i would have thought,
but thought of with lots of respect given the complexity of modern
software (mostly threads, locks, event processing etc).
