How to create empty certs-only CMS format p7c file

Hi everybody,

 

I'm trying to create a p7c file for the AIA extension of an issuing CA which
issuer is a self-signed root.

In RFC 8551 is stated that this file must not contain any self-signed CA
certificates and also it must be empty certs-only CMS format, if no
currently valid CA certificates

can be included.

How can I create an empty certs-only CMS format p7c file using OpenSSL?
