Some time ago, I wrote an email to this list talking about some ideas 
about a new keyserver that improves upon the previous generation of 
keyservers. The discussion that went on here was very useful to us.

Since then, we have created a new keyserver that we're calling the PGP 
Global Directory. It is compatible with the old keyserver system, but 
also allows users to manage their own keys, even if they have forgotten 
their passphrase. This new keyserver is going to go into beta test this 
fall. There will be a formal announcement of it later, but we would 
like you to know about it in advance.
