Are you sure we have a mail loop ?, I don't remember how
is handled the "X-KeyServer-Sent" header, but as far as I
know t pks should only send an sync email to others peers when:

- The key is changed in the database.
- The change is not of the primary id.

And the email is not sent to keyserver from which the sync
email is received.

So if we have an increase in the number of emails sent by the keyserver
(not total of mails received by the smtp server), It
should be because there will be an increase in the number
of keys added to the keyserver network, my information from
yesterday was the number of messages received by the
keyserver and sent after adding the key information to our
local server.

Perhaps we need to see which keyserver is "injecting"
more keys than normal (difficult to know ).

Perhaps there are a couple of factors that are difficult
to measure:

- smtp problems in some node that differed some emails.
- ¿ summer keysigning ?.

Unfortunately in the pksd logs there is no information of
the exact keyid that is added to the server so we can
check which keys are been added to the database.

I will try tom made some modifications and put our
statistics back again.

 regards

paco
