I've used arla on FreeBSD 6.x, and at least managed to build and start it on FreeBSD 7.x. On 6.x, I think both current from csv (as of a month or three ago) and 0.90 worked, on 7.x I think I only tried current (about two months ago, I think). I can get back with more details during the weekend, I don't have access to those actual hosts right now. For building, I make sure I have heimdal installed from ports (the base heimdal in FreeBSD is to old, and for current arla, even the ported heimdal might be to old, so I have to build a ported heimdal). Then it's cust configure [args] && make && make install. I can get back to the exact configure arguments during the weekend. -- Rasmus Kaj <[email protected]>
