Tested with some symlinked directories and compressed files and directories opened fine. No problem. Also tested opening files of various types, and they were extracted and opened fine too! AFAIK your patches and new compile time option works fine. THX! Now, may I suggest that the main README file be updated to note that there are now 4 options for compiling and installing avfs -- the fourth option being to -enable-fuse. Also, I noticed the doc directory was missing a file README.avfs-fuse. Otherwise, I think this is terrific. Thank you for your efforts. Peter -- Do not reply to this email address.
