Hi ...
I'd like to use afvs to mount an ftp site as a file system. I was able to
configure and install avfs without problems. I have fuse installed ...
> uname -a

# ... but nothing with 'avfs' in the name
I've read this file ...
avfs-0.9.6/README
I looked for "/#avfsstat", but it doesn't exist. I assume that there is a
daemon that needs to start, but I can't find the daemon (in /usr/bin,
usr/sbin, etc). I was able to find /usr/bin/avfs-config, but I can't find
documentation on it; "avfs-config -h" shows ...
Usage: avfs-config [OPTIONS]
Options:
[--prefix[=DIR]]
[--exec-prefix[=DIR]]
[--version]
[--libs]
[--cflags]
... but I don't know what the options are, or what prefix and exec-prefix
should be. Or is this intended to call to avfs-0.9.6/configure?
Is there a daemon? If so, what is the name of the daemon?
Thanks for any help,
Doug
