[AVFS] preparing a new release

Hi all,

A bunch of bugs have been fixed lately and I think it's time for a new 
version soon. Please check the latest cvs version (read the file NEWS 
for an overview of the changes) and report any problem which might 
appear. Also, report any issue you want to get fixed before a new release.

BTW, the bug tracker is not visible at the sf page. Miklos, could you 
please check the situation?
